I can't get over how beautiful the silk is intrinsically. As spun thread or woven textile, it really is golden.

The spiders themselves are works of art; quite beautiful. How I'd love to have a spool of their golden tread just as a sculptural centerpiece. Thanks for turning me on to spider silk, Patrick.
